Our journey so far

Since 2021, we’ve been helping South Africans start stronger. We helped Mzansi through the tumultuous Covid period and now we’re getting ready to help you shift your mindset and identify strategies that will help you take control of your life and finances.

In the Mzansi Class of 2021 Digi-series, we encouraged South Africans to let go of the burdens from the Covid-19 lockdowns, talk openly about loss and reflect on a supportive platform. The result of that was renewed learnings from these challenges and starting the year with a fresh sense of resilience.

In 2022, we launched a 3-part Digi-series to help South Africans navigate common financial and insurance challenges, addressing the root causes of many consumer complaints. In the series, we offered relatable lessons, practical tools, and support aimed at reducing the financial stress that comes with understanding financial solutions and in turn, enhancing the financial knowledge for all South Africans as they make buying decisions to protect their loved ones and their life goals.

In 2023, we celebrated 125 years of Metropolitan by highlighting the strength of collective effort in achieving your goals - Making life changes alone can be challenging but doing it with your squad - family, friends and a trusted financial partner – is that small difference that enables you to accomplish more by setting shared goals and supporting each other along the way.

For 2024, we empowered you to take control of your financial anxieties and make informed choices. As part of your collective, we helped you shift your mindset and identify strategies that helped you take control of your life.
